It is amazing to see that in this age of Internet and cable television, many people still love to read newspapers. They even love to spend some money to buy daily newspapers. There is a report that China and India are the two largest newspaper markets in the world. It sounds logical as China has the largest population in the world followed by India.
Literacy rate is increasing in India and the continuous economic growth means that many people can now afford to buy a newspaper daily. Thus, 99 million copies of daily newspapers are printed everyday in India. This statistics has come from World Association of Newspapers.
This shows that the newspaper industry will continue to flourish in India for the next few years. Well, there is one cause of concern. Many TV channels are trying to get top journalists from daily newspapers by offering higher salaries.

Newspaper keeps important role in our daily. It is said the gather of knowledge. People can increae their knowledge reading newspaper. Not only this but also general people can know what is happening in the nearer country of the world. So, i think newspaper business will never stop.
