The ascendency of India as an economic world power

I don’t see any difference between Indian Hockey Confederation and Hockey India. The former is the past name while the latter is the new name of the same governing body. Indian hockey is now at its lowest position. The condition of the male team is so bad now that qualifying for Olympic Games is now a difficult proposition. So, I really cannot find any justification of change of the name of the governing body.

India was the best team in hockey once. Those days are gone and perhaps gone forever. Now, the only thing Indian fans look forward is that whether their team can qualify for Olympics.
