
Indian tennis star Sania Mirza started well at the East West Bank Classic tournament clinching an easy straight-set victory over qualifier Eva Hrdinova from

The Indian ace raced away with the first set in just 30 minutes, having broken Hrdinova twice while saving there breakpoints on her own serve.
In the second set, Sania was trailing 1-3 as the Czech fought back, but the Hyderabadi got her elements together as she saved four breakpoints and converted two to dump Hrdinova.
Sania Mirza has not been at her best since coming back to court after recovering from wrist injury. The Hyderabad-born star could not make any impression in the recently concluded Stanford West Bank Classic tournament after being eliminated from the first round, a week after an unimpressive performance at Wimbledon 2008. Now, let us see if Sania Mirza can regain her confidence and form at East West Bank Classic tournament.
