The ascendency of India as an economic world power

 It is definitely good news for the cricket crazy Bangladesh fans as the opening ceremony of 2011 world cup cricket is expected to be held in Bangladesh. I guess you already know that ICC World Cup 2011 will be held in four South Asian counties including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The final match of the tournament is expected to be held in India.

It is not something new for Bangladesh to organize elite cricket event. In fact, Bangladesh has the prior experience of organizing ICC Knockout Tournament (then Mini World Cup) in 1998 and the Under-19 World Cup in 2004. So, I think, Bangladesh can present a lively opening ceremony of world cup 2011.
