The ascendency of India as an economic world power

“Slumdog Millionaire” may have created a lot of buzz in Hollywood and in western countries but it seems that not everyone is too much excited with it. Many Indian people feel that the movie is like some kind of insult as the poverty of the country has been showed only, not the other part- continuous high economic growth.

Well, I think that this kind of movies should be made in India. First of all, it is great movie and has got a lot of praise. Secondly, life for most people in the country is not rosy at all. Millions of children are malnourished. Millions of people just dream of eating 3 times a day.
