The ascendency of India as an economic world power

Former England opener Marcus Trescothick has dismissed all the speculations regarding his probable return to international cricket. Recently, England captain Andrew Strauss has requested Marcus Trescothick to make a come back to England team for World Twenty20 which is due to take place in June 2009 in England. Well, Trescothick has ruled it out, stating that it would not be possible for him to come back due to health concern. He said that he would have loved to play again for England, but it was his health which put a bar on his return to the international fold.

Well, to be honest, Marcus Trescothick was one of the most consistent performers for England team during 2000 and 2006 and had lots of contribution to England’s success during his career. No doubt, Trescothick’s return to international cricket could have strengthened England team, but I think, people should also consider his health condition and show respect to his decision of not making another shot to international cricket.
