Swine flu has become a big threat for Indian movie industry. People all over the India are suffering from this virus. Due to the effect of this virus two high-profile Bollywood films have been postponed. These two movies are "Kaminey" and "Life Partner". These two films were supposed to be released soon. But it has been postponed because of the rising swine flu virus in the two neighboring cities. The amount of dead by swine flu virus is 17 since August 3 of this year. You should know that Kaminey has been produced by UTV Motion Pictures. This movie has been starring by Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Chief executive of UTV Motion Pictures, Siddharth Roy Kapur, said in a statement that they would to release it on Friday.

Sandeep Bhargava, chief executive of Indian Films, has planned to release it on Sunday. He also said that it depends on the permission from Indian government.

It is one year that Know More Media shut down its business and this blog and many other blogs got closed. IndianRaj brought some good mention in different websites and the success that I enjoyed through this blog has helped me a lot to build a pro-blogging career. So, I miss it a lot. I wish that someday, it comes back again and I can write here every day.

Occasionally, I update the blog and also South Asia Biz. This is not enough but there is nothing more I can do either. I wish that the good old days come back again and I can blog here.

Cricket on Ice in New Zealand

Recently, a cricket match was held on ice in Auckland, New Zealand which involved some of the former New Zealand cricketers like Sir Richard Hadlee, Chris Harris, Dion Nash and current stars like Shane Bond and Kyle Mills. It was not a part of any tournament, rather the match was organized in order to raise fund for hurt patients.

Sir Hadlee, who himself suffered from heart problem in the past, started the match when he bowled the first ball of the match against Matthew Munro, a 12-year-old who already had two surgery on his heart. Regarding the experience of playing on ice, former New Zealand cricketer Dion Nash said that the surface was hard and quicker than conventional cricket wickets, but there was not much swing, and thus, requiring less feet movement.

Well, I am really happy to see that such a match was organized in New Zealand with a view to raising fund for heart patients. Moreover, organizing a match on ice surface was an unique decision and I think, the organizers have done a good job.
